Roger Federer returned to tennis-related activities by teaming up with Wilson to launch their new ProStaff V14 to the world with a social media video.
Federer has been using Wilson for much of his career and the famed 'W' has been associated with him for as long as his iconic 'RF' logo. The Ace has inspired many to take up the Wilson racquet as many wanted to be like him when they grew up. The newest model was now launched and Federer was part of the launch.
The company posted a video on social media where Federer unveils the racquet and says:
"Wilson has a new ProStaff coming out the V14 and for the first time in quite some time now I won’t be the one playing or debuting it on the tour which is obviously unfortunate. But you’ll see it in the hands of really some great other players from both the ATP and WTA tour in 2023 and beyond."
He added:
"The precision is still at the absolute top of the game and I know you’ll get as much joy out of the new version as with all the ProStaffs I played to date really."
