Felix Auger-Aliassime played another solid match to beat
Brandon Nakashima 6-3 6-4 booking a place in the semi-final.
The top seed was widely expected to make a deep run here because the draw wasn't anything special and he's doing just that. He is in a very good position to go all the way because he's by far the best player remaining in the draw and he played another solid match tonight to take down Brandon Nakashima.
Auger slightly slipped up early in this match dropping his serve in the first game of the match. He battled back to make it 2-1 and from there kept applying pressure on Nakashima. Eventually, he overpowered the American taking the first set 6-3.
Auger was just superb on his serve dropping only three points behind his first one. He was quite poor on his second but it didn't matter as he broke his opponent twice which was more than enough. The Canadian did the same in the second set only this time he dropped only one point behind his first serve.
An early break was enough and from there it was a simple journey towards the 6-4 finish.
