Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle went from having the time of her life to 'fighting for her life' in her words as he dealt with a bout of Norovirus after attending the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Riddle has been hosting and promoting several events across the country with boyfriend Fritz ending his season at the recent Davis Cup Finals. Ordinarily she is a heavy feature in his box when she isn't busy and appeared at amfAR's gala in Las Vegas interviewing celebrities.
She was also a special guest at the Grand Prix in which Max Verstappen won a fourth F1 drivers title. She was invited by McLaren with their partnership with Mastercard. But she fell ill a few days afterwards.

On her Instagram, she detailed her ordeal in getting infected with Norovirus which causes severe vomiting and diarrhea and saw her spend most of her week thus far in bed.
"Have been fighting for my life for the last 48 hours. Truly wouldn't wish norovirus upon my worst enemy."

Also showing extended sleep hours, she showed that she slept for 18 hours on Monday and over 14 hours the next day. "Literally I don't remember anything since Sunday night," she wrote. But while it is an issue, it clears up in around three days or so and can be foodborne especially prevalent in the winter months.
She was seen at the award ceremony during Fritz's ATP Finals final defeat and so only went to Las Vegas for her own work commitments. Fritz thanked his team which features Riddle afterwards. "Thank you to my team for being with me, putting up with me all year long. It's been a long year but they are all still sticking around. So thank you guys for being here. I might not have been able to do it without you," he said.
