Tennis star Frances Tiafoe will debut a new kit at the Australian Open, as the American will be switching clothing brands for the 2025 season.
The former World No.10 has been had been collaborating with apparel giants Nike over the past few years, resulting in several memorable outfits. However, Tiafoe recently made the switch to clothing rivals Lululemon, who will be designing his tennis gear moving forward.
The 26-year old will face Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech in the opening round at the first Grand Slam of the season. Tiafoe has not had favorable results at the Happy Slam, with a third round showing in 2023 being his best result till date.
However, Tiafoe could be looking to channel his recent Grand Slam success following his semifinal showing at the 2024 US Open. The American lost to compatriot Taylor Fritz in a thrilling five-set encounter on Arthur Ashe, and could call on his big performance at the event to put on a strong showing in Melbourne next week. The Australian Open kicks off on January 12, 2025.
Well, it’s official. No more Nike “swoosh” for Frances Tiafoe.
