"Games like this you have to win with professionalism": Alcaraz battles past Bautista Agut amid choppy weather conditions

Carlos Alcaraz managed to battle past compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut in very windy conditions that gave him some problems as he continued his run.

Alcaraz is hopeful of making this event the first one in his career where he succesfully defends a trophy. He won it last year in impressive fashion and is looking really strong this year after winning two matches in straight sets. Speaking after the match, Alcaraz said:

"I'm very happy to go through to the next round, it was a very difficult game. Everyone knows the capacity Roberto has, how tough he is, and it wasn't easy at all with the wind."

He added:

"We say that games like this you have to win with professionalism and hard work. It was very hard to play at the best level, for Roberto too, I'm sure."
