French tennis player Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard is known for his booming serves, and the rising star will get to showcase his ability in a special event next month.
The World No.30 has been announced as a participant at the upcoming MGM Rewards Slam at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, which is scheduled to take place on March 2, 2025. The exhibition event will feature a unique Ace Challenge competition, during which Mpetshi Perricard will show off his skills.
Standing at 6 feet 8 inches, Mpetshi Perricard is among the tallest players on court. This height advantage assists him in hitting powerful and unreturnable serves, putting more pressure on his opponents to hold their service games.
However, the 21-year old will face an even bigger challenge at the event. American tennis star Reilly Opelka, who stands at an imposing 6 feet 11 inches, has also been announced for the Ace Challenge exhibition event. Opelka is renown for hitting huge serves, and he will undoubtedly be a threat to his French opponent, regardless of the format of the event.
