David Goffin has branded the teams practising with each other at the Davis Cup as positive and said that it makes a small competition into a big one.
For Goffin he said that despite them potentially all playing each other at some point, it allows for them to practice in a good atmosphere which each other which he said is a nice thing.
"That’s one of the positive things you can do here,” Goffin told the
Davis Cup Finals. “Today we made a small Davis Cup in the big Davis Cup because I played with Andy, and then Kimmer [Coppejans] is playing with [Dan] Evans and then Steve [Darcis] is playing with Kyle [Edmund].
Maybe we’ll play against each other after the group stage if we play well, but for the moment we aren’t in the same group, we can practice with a good atmosphere, so it’s nice”.
