Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Nicolas Mahut will be playing semifinals at the ATP Finals after they won also their second match in London.
Entering the tournament as a 7th seeded pair, former world number 1's Herbert & Mahut had a difficult task ahead of them. Coming from Paris Masters where they did not lose a set in their way to the title, they wanted to follow up on a good form.
In the first match in London, they faced first seeded pair Cabal & Farah. Again, they did not lose a set and won the match in an hour and 22 minutes 6-3 and 7-5.
To secure the spot in the semifinals, Herbert and Mahut needed to win also their second match in O2 Arena. They faced German team Kevin Krawietz and Andreas Mies in a rematch from Paris semifinal.
This time again, French duo was unstoppable and defeated Germans 7-5 and 7-6(3) in 1 hour and 35 minutes. Herbert & Mahut earned 2nd point in the Group Max Mirnyi and therefore, they will be playing in the semifinals.
