Holger Rune is back to showing a decent level indoors with the Danish player beating
Tim Van Rijthoven 7-6(2) 7-6(6).
Two great young players faced off against each other but it was Rune who proved more resilient in the key moments. The Danish player has shown a very promising serve early in his career and it has only become better after that.
This was a typical indoor match as the Dutch had a good day serving as well and we didn't see a single break point in the entire set. Both players were quite comfortable behind their opening serve with Rune dropping only one behind his first serve in the entire set and Tim only four.
The Danish player won it 7-2 in the tiebreak. The second set was quite similar but this time around the players traded early breaks. After that, it was back to dominant tennis and neither had a single break point after that.
Van Rijthoven played a much better second-set tiebreak and he even had a set point on his serve but Rune was able to wiggle out of that and finish it off 8-6.
