Jannik Sinner is a very hard worker which is why he is in the top 10 at such a young age and the Italian thinks it's all about the work.
Jannik Sinner has been consistently called one of the most talented players in recent memory, it's the reason why he broke out at such a young age. The Italian was also one of the best young skiers in Italy a couple of years ago showing an affinity for sports from a very young age. Speaking to Intesa San Paolo Sinner admitted that he doesn't believe in talent:
“Talent does not exist for me, one has to earn it. You can have slightly better skills, but if you work you’ll go higher. The one who works is the one who has talent."
It's a very interesting take that is not unique to tennis or Sinner personally. Many people spoke about the importance of working on your skills in the past and Sinner seems to be one of them. He even admitted as much saying:
“I’ve realised you can train every single thing: physically, technically, and most of all mentally. In tennis, you have to be very strong mentally in every moment of the match. And that, in the end, makes you win good matches, even if you play bad matches.”
Sinner got his first taste of the ATP Finals playing at home in Turin and the Italian is dead-set on returning there next year.
