Nick Kyrgios can't get off
Novak Djokovic's trail in recent weeks, provoking the world's leading player again on Sunday before the
Australian Open men's doubles second-round match.
A couple of days after calling him a very strange cat, Kyrgios mocked Novak and his unique celebration while entering Margaret Court Arena together for the doubles duties with Thanasi Kokkinakis. The Aussie duo lost to the 4th seed Wesley Koolhof and Lukasz Kubot 6-3, 6-4 in 69 minutes, getting broken once in each set to send the favorites through. During the press conference, Kyrgios spoke about Djokovic again, saying he is only having fun and doesn't like Novak at all.
"Just feeling the love and trying to spread the good word of the celebration. Everyone loves that celebration; it's well-liked. We banter anyway. When we tweet or do stuff, you know it's for fun, like you can't take it all too seriously. We're just having some fun. Novak, I'm sure, doesn't like me, and we both have respect for each other, but I don't like him at all, so it's fun," Nick Kyrgios said.
