Jannik Sinner has his father travelling with him since Indian Wells serving as his cook because that's what his passion is and they get to catch up as well.

Sinner left home fairly early to focus on his tennis career at various academies.

The Italian didn't spend a lot of time with his father growing up and that's something he tries to change right now. Thankfully he has his father travelling with him as of recently serving as his cook.

The senior spent most of his life in a kitchen and it was a natural fit for him to start travelling with the team.

It gives them a chance to spend more time together which is something they both missed in the previous decade:

"My father worked for 40 years in the kitchen, he started travelling with me from Indian Wells. He likes to cook for the team: it's his life and I'm happy. I left home when I was 14, we spent too little time together, so we try to catch up."

Considering how well Sinner played this year, it seems like the meals are having an effect.

Jannik: "My father worked for 40 years in the kitchen, he started traveling with me from Indian Wells. He likes to cook for the team: it's his life and I'm happy. I left home when I was 14, we spent too little time together, so we try to catch up." ❤️🦊
