"I will be trying to give my all" - Nadal excited to play Virtual Madrid Open

Rafa is one of the greatest players on the clay in the history of tennis. Nadal is by far the most successful players at the Roland Garros when he triumphed for a total of 12 times in Paris. Previously, he has been successful also at the Madrid Open but he will need to try a little bit more this year.

Since this year, the Madrid Open changed into the Virtual Madrid Open. The players will compete online from home. There will be 16 players in both ATP and WTA draws. For now, Nadal knows 3 of his opponents and those are John Isner, Lucas Pouille and Andy Murray. The 2020 Virtual Madrid Open promises to be a great competition and both players and fans have a lot to look forward to.

“From isolation and with the strength and encouragement we are all giving each other, I’m happy to play in Madrid’s virtual tournament and, as always, I will be trying to give my all. I’m not sure how good I’ll be at it, but I hope to be with you all and feel your support as is always the case when I play at home, this time virtually," said Nadal.
