French tennis veteran
Gilles Simon, 37, has hinted that he will soon be retiring from tennis by reacting to the retirement of
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
On Wednesday, former world No. 5 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga announced he would play the last tournament of his career at the
French Open. The French Open takes place next month and it will mark the end of Tsonga's great career. Tsonga said:
“It is with great emotion that I announce today my decision to stop my professional career at the next French Open. So many incredible moments, so much joy shared with a public that gave me a lot. Hoping for one last thrill with you!”
Simon reacted with a tweet saying:
"I'm coming buddy."
The tweet is an obvious reference to him as well retiring which might be sooner rather than later considering his age (37).
