"I'm never satisfied" admits Coco Gauff ahead of Australian Open

Speaking on her goals Gauff admitted that she is never satisfied and is always looking ahead:

“For me, there’s not really a schedule to it. I would say I’m more than ahead of schedule because I don’t really know what plan my parents or my team laid out for me. I don’t know what’s in it – or not in it. I will say, definitely, I’m always the type of person who’s never satisfied, I always want to better and be hungry. When I win a tournament, I’m already looking forward to the next. But sometimes I try to take a step back and really enjoy the things I’ve accomplished.”

She also higlighted a grand slam victory as the major one while admitting to several New Year's resolutions:

“Less time on TikTok – yeah, that’s the biggest one. I don’t know my exact screen time, but I would say, for sure at least two to three hours a day. I’ve got to work on that.”

Getting back to playing tennis was a bit of struggle for Gauff who admitted:

“The worst was going on the track and doing workouts. I ran 400s, 200s, 100s – you name it – a lot of times. Those were the times when I did not want to be alive. In the end, though, I was happy.”
