Alex Corretja reacted to the schoking injury of
ALexander Zverev by wishing him all the best and underlining his belief that he will win one for sure.
Alexander Zverev was playing one of the best matches of his career with a fairly solid chance to book the
Roland Garros final. Unfortunately, the match was cut short by an injury that left his immediate future uncertain. Reacting to it for Eurosport live not long after it happened, Corretja said:
"I watched it live. I was commentating the match in Spain. He tried to slide but unfortunately, it twisted completely. You could see it right away. This is like a lesson in life. One minute you are playing one of the best matches of your life and 10 seconds later you can't continue."
"Just live the moment. It's a shame he has to go out like this. I wish him the best and I'm sure Sascha Zverev will win a slam for sure"
