In our Daily Dose of Social Media, we take a look back at some of the top moments you may have missed from social media over the past 24 hours mostly from Roland Garros as we reach Middle Sunday.
Among those to feature in this latest deep dive into the top social media include Novak Djokovic, Casper Ruud and Hubert Hurkacz. Here are some of the moments you might have missed.

CALL THE SUPERVISOR as tensions boil over for Hubert Hurkacz

Losing out to Grigor Dimitrov in the Last 16 of the 2024 French Open, it was more fraught perhaps by the actions of Hubert Hurkacz who had a meltdown of sorts akin to that of Andrey Rublev. He smashed his racquet only to acrobatically catch it again, he asked for the umpire to be changed mid match.
He also screamed at the top of his lungs for the supervisor after a dodgy line call that didn't go his way. The Pole is never one for an outburst but those on the tennis aggro scale got their money's worth this evening that is for sure.

Joyful Jelena Djokovic shows love for husband at 3:06am

Whilst the Novak Djokovic win against Lorenzo Musetti ended up leaving a lot of people on European time zone both thrilled and also sleepy due to the late finish time, Jelena Djokovic showed that even at that time the love and excitement remains.
Djokovic's wife was jumping for joy as Novak pulled a rabbit out of the hat once more in sealing the win over the Italian. A display fraught by scheduling woes but one that could be a landmark in his run over the next week or so.
He nearly lost again to Lorenzo Musetti but showed the true heart of a lion and a champion to win through and Jelena was as delighted as he was.

Andreescu full of love after successful return to action at Roland Garros

Bianca Andreescu delighted tennis fans by returning successfully at Roland Garros. The former US Open champion has always been popular with tennis fans and delighted them by defeating Sara Sorribes Tormo and Anna Kalinskaya. She took to social media to share her delight of her run and the support she has received.
“10 months ago I had no idea when I would be able to compete again. To be back so soon with what I dealt with is a dream!!! I know my career has been very challenging thus far (who’s isn’t in their own way though) but it helped me discover life in such a fascinating way (more on that another time) and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I finally feel something I haven’t felt a long time… hope! Anyways, I just wanted to come out here to say thank you to the ones who have stuck by me even during all the stops I’ve had. Srsly it means soooooooo much. I love you all," she wrote on social media.
She lost out to Jasmine Paolini in the end. Albeit she had a display fraught by rain including playing in a downpour when the umpire wouldn't take them off court. Perhaps the reason she lost. She will next return during the grass court season. But tennis is certainly a better place with Andreescu in it, that is for sure.

Ons Jabeur embodies Cristiano Ronaldo after Tauson win

Easing past Clara Tauson 6-4, 6-4, the delight of Ons Jabeur can be there for all to be seen. She has had a pretty torrid time of it on the court in the past year or so. But she is back towards her best.
She is into the Quarter-Final where she gets a golden opportunity in facing off against Coco Gauff in the latter stages. She showed the excitement of winning through by doing the Cristiano Ronaldo celebration known as the SIUUUUU. Will she be celebrating after the Gauff match?

Moutet gonna Moutet

The run of Corentin Moutet may have ended at the hands of Jannik Sinner. But he sparkled bright in the opening set before losing to a better player in the Italian.
But Moutet didn't change his bag of tracks during his defeat to Sinner. He still brought out the underarm serve against one of the best players in the world no less.
He left Sinner flummoxed during the defeat by this method. As ever Moutet gonna Moutet.

Casper Ruud hits shot of the tournament

Also late last night, Casper Ruud played late albeit not Novak Djokovic late. He did produce one of the greatest shots of the tournament thus far though.
An utterly incredible passing tweener shot that has to be seen to be believed. A crazy point that ended up in an even crazier way. Like something out of Harry Potter.
Ruud is truly sensational at Roland Garros and he proved it again versus Tomas Martin Etcheverry. Is the Norwegian a real contender again after reaching the final the past two years. If he produces mastery like this again, he certainly will be.

Iga Swiatek doesn't realise how quickly she won against Potapova

Not one whilst on the court to realise the time, Iga Swiatek won in 40 minutes against Anastasia Potapova 6-0, 6-0 and there was no hint of irony as she though it went pretty quickly.
No doubt Swiatek wouldn't have thought that she would've won in just 40 minutes against Potapova. "I was just really focused and really in the zone, wasn't really looking at the score so I just continued playing my game, working on stuff I wanted to work on. It went pretty quickly...pretty weird," Swiatek said.
The former Roland Garros finalist is more likely to give her a game. But Naomi Osaka likely has given her the main test she will receive until at least the final.
