In our Daily Dose of Social Media, we take a look back at some of the best moments from `Tuesday at the 2024 French Open which has seen the first semi-finalists confirmed at Roland Garros.

Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Ben Stiller, Jannik Sinner and also Emma Raducanu are among those who feature in our Daily Dose of Social Media.

Stiller in the house for Alcaraz' win over Tsitsipas

Known as a big fan of tennis, famous Hollywood actor Ben Stiller made the trip to watch Carlos Alcaraz v Stefanos Tsitsipas at the 2024 French Open. He has previously been sighted at multiple major tournaments and is a big-time tennis fan.

He regularly also posts on Twitter about the sport. He was recently joined in the Hollywood stakes by one Matthew McConaughey with the Lincoln actor lauding Tommy Paul in particular. Stiller is known to be a fan of Novak Djokovic.

But unfortunately Djokovic had to withdraw earlier today due to injury. So if he is in the country to see him face Casper Ruud tomorrow, he won't be in luck with only Alexander Zverev v Alex de MInaur the attraction men's wise tomorrow. Otherwise it is Rybakina v Paolini and Sabalenka v Andreeva as WTA takes centre stage during the day. Stiller thogh was in the house and was seemingly a lucky charm if he was supporting Alcaraz.

Sinner becomes World No.1 with incredible graffiti and he reacts to receiving top spot

As Jose Morgado put it, the Tennis TV account certainly had their celebratory post ready to go for Jannik Sinner becoming World No.1. Certainly it was one to savour for the Italian with a superb piece of content.

They brought out some superb graffiti on a piece of paper with a multitude of different layers. All of it though was spelling out Sinner World No.1 with the Italian flag also adorning the backdrop. The perfect tribute to Sinner becoming World No.1

He will join the annuls of ATP history as the 29th World No.1 in the history of the tour after Novak Djokovic ended up retiring from the tournament. He has a meniscus tear so can't continue in Paris. As a result he hands the top spot to Sinner. He had to reach the final or usurp Sinner's run in order to keep hold of it. Also Djokovic is set to defend a lot of points in the coming months anyway so was always set to be in for a fight.

He also found out on court speaking post match that he became World No.1. It technically happened while he was defeating Grigor Dimitrov. So the first thought was to ask him for his reaction.

His face lit up as he was told that he is the new World No.1. He also paid tribute to Novak Djokovic though admitting that he'd rather not become World No.1 in these circumstances. But given that it has been on the card a lot in recent months, it was always likely to take place at some point in the near future.

Whether it was at Roland Garros or even Wimbledon where Djokovic also defends a slew of points. It was inevitable but the reaction was superb.

Paris Fashion Week bound? Who would make the transition

In the latest piece of fun content from Tennis Channel at Roland Garros, top players are given the question of who could shine on the runway at Paris Fashion Week.

Taylor Fritz is an obvious choice and was the first thought of Caroline Garcia. He has previously done some semblance of catwalk modelling in the past with Donna Vekic also picked by Garcia. Coco Gauff thought of Paula Badosa who said that in her view she is like the Barbie of the WTA Tour. Watch the views of others below.

Alcaraz dances towards semi-finals Sabalenka style

Aryna Sabalenka has made it her post match tradition in front of the Roland Garros cameras to dance and Carlos Alcaraz carried that on showing some good moves.

He had every right to show off his moves after a superb performance in defeating Stefanos Tsitsipas to reach the semi-finals of the 2024 French Open. He will now face Jannik Sinner in a real titanic tussle and one that will captivate the tennis world once more.

The other side of the draw gets set tomorrow with Casper Ruud already through due to the demise of Novak Djokovic. He faces the winner of Alexander Zverev or Alex de Minaur for a spot in the final.

Djokovic withdrawing from Roland Garros as statement released

Novak Djokovic is out of the 2024 French Open after having to withdraw from the tournament. He took to social media to confirm the bad news. Whilst not revealing any sort of prognosis, he thanked the fans for all their support.

There is limited information with some saying that it could take months and that Wimbledon is very much in doubt. So time will tell on Djokovic.

“I am really sad to announce that I have to withdraw from Roland Garros. I played with my heart and gave my all in yesterday's match and unfortunately, due to a medial meniscus tear in my right knee, my team and I had to make a tough decision after careful consideration and consultation. I wish the best of luck to the players competing this week and sincerely thank the incredible fans for all of the love and continued support. See you soon. With love and gratitude, Nole.”
