Isner and wife expecting third child

There will be a new addition to the Isner family in the near future, as American tennis star John Isner announced that he and his wife Madison are expecting their third child.

The former World No.8 and Madison are already parents to two children, daughter Hunter Grace who was born in 2018 and son John Hobbs who was born in 2019. After the ATP season was postponed due to the pandemic last year, Isner's appearances on the court have been sporadic with the big-serving American participating on an abbreviated schedule.

“I haven’t played much since the Tour shut down last year. The Tour has looked different since we started coming back, and I have a family and a wife who is pregnant again,” Isner revealed. “There has been stuff at home within the past nine to 12 months that I have felt has been more important than tennis."

Isner is currently competing at the Mifel Open Los Cabos, where he is the second seed. He will face Australian Alex Bolt in the quarterfinals, with the two never having met on the ATP Tour.
