Kevin Anderson has been granted entry into the Citi Open Washington, with the South African tennis star set to make his eighth appearance at the event.
The tournament directors announced that the former World No.5 will be participating his summer, with Anderson finishing runner-up at the event in his last appearance in 2017.
"We're excited to welcome our 2017 runner-up, Kevin Anderson to the men's field at the 2021 Citi Open as a wild card," the tournament announced.
Anderson has been on an impressive streak over the last week, lifting his seventh ATP career title at the
Hall of Fame Open in Newport.
The Citi Open is set to take place in Washington, D.C from August 2-8, 2021.
