"It has been a year of many highs, of course some lows" - Ruud ends season with Djokovic defeat at ATP Finals

Casper Ruud finished off the year with another final but once again he was awarded the smaller trophy as Djokovic proved too strong.

This year has been extraordinary for Casper Ruud. In many ways, it was a year better than he thought he would have but a couple of defeats will be in his mind for a long time. The Roland Garros final, the US Open final, this one.

All of them will motivate Ruud to be even better next year and while thanking his team during the ceremony, Ruud underlined his excitement about next year:

“To my team, another year has passed on the ATP Tour. hank you to everyone who helps me and pushes me everyday, Without you it would not be possible. It has been a year of many highs, some really big highs. Of course, some lows. I look forward to the next season already.”
