A new tennis competition will start in about 20 days and it's the United Cup that features the same format the Hopman Cup did.

The Hopman Cup was a prep event for the Australian Open that was played for many years in Australia with teams mixed of ATP and WTA players. The United Cup is basically the same thing as it will replace the ATP Cup in the calendar.

Despite all of that the ITF announced today that the Hopman Cup is coming back in 2023. The event will be part of the calendar at least until 2027 due to a 5-year agreement between the ITF and Tennium. It will run in the week after Wimbledon from June 19th till the 23rd.

ITF has announced that the Hopman Cup, official mixed-team competition will return for 2023-2027. The competition will be hosted at the Nice Lawn Tennis Club as part of a 5-year agreement between the ITF and Tennium, company is led by Kristoff Puelinckx and Sebastien Grosjean.
