Kosmos Group won't be running the Davis Cup any longer as the ITF did not renew the contract with the organisation going forward with the competition alone.
The Kosmos rendition of the Davis Cup implemented some changes to the competition but they weren't very popular with some fans and players alike. It won't be a problem moving forward as ITF hasn't renewed the contract with Kosmos meaning that they'll have full control of the competition moving forward.
It's been speculated that Kosmos had a long vision for the Davis Cup but they experimented with the event every year making changes that didn't find much approval. It's an interesting development for the Davis Cup moving forward.
