World no. 23 Jamie Murray couldn't make progress through the ATP ranking list in 2020, competing with Neal Skupski and wrapping up the year with the Sofia title.
Jamie will reunite with Bruno Soares in 2021, seeking more Major titles and thinking about competing at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. Murray is still uncertain about the Tokop trip, failing to make an impression in Beijing, London and Rio, winning one out of five encounters and staying miles from the medals.
"That is a good question; we'll see. It's a bit difficult with tennis and all the issues with the calendar. I have been at the Olympics three times before, and while I've been very fortunate to be part of it, personally, it has never worked out for me in terms of results and performances.
But who knows, maybe Tokyo will be fourth time lucky. The reunion with Soares wasn't something I expected or was looking at. There were a few changes right at the end of the season.
Bruno was available, and I put it out there to see if he was keen. Thankfully he was. We have won a couple of US Open titles; we have done well and hopefully can get a crack at four Majors this year and pick up more trophies," Jamie Murray added.
