Despite losing an epic French Open final to Carlos Alcaraz on Sunday, Jannik Sinner appears ready to resume his 2025 ATP season as the Italian announced his participation at a popular tournament this summer.
The World No.1 was coming off a three-month suspension after testing positive for Clostebol at Indian Wells last year. Sinner was competing in his second tournament after his return from suspension, and looked to be in incredible form. However, Alcaraz proved to be the better player on Sunday, battling back from two sets to love down to win the Roland Garros title.

Sinner to make appearance in Beijing

With the Wimbledon Championships a few weeks away, Sinner has little time to mourn his loss in Paris. The three-time Grand Slam champion is scheduled to compete at next week's Halle Open in Germany, before heading over to the United Kingdom for SW 19.
However, Sinner's team is looking ahead as they have matches planned out for the summer. The 23-year old has confirmed his participation at the 2025 China Open, the event where Sinner kicked off his dominant run in 2023. Sinner would defeat Russian Daniil Medvedev in straight sets to lift the title, and go on a run that saw him win his first Major title at the 2024 Australian Open.
Sinner would once again make the final in 2024, this time facing Alcaraz for the title. In one of the best matches of the year, the Spaniard would prevail in a three-set marathon.
