Jimmy Arias adorns praise on Alcaraz: "He does things that I haven't seen players do"

Former world number five Jimmy Arias praised Alcaraz for what he's been able to do noting that his athletic prowess was incredible.

Alcaraz amazed many with his tennis player this year but one thing that is usually not at the front due to the magnitude of his talent is his athletic ability. He's very strong and hits the ball as hard as some of the biggest hitters on the tour with his speed something to be marvel at as well.

He's won so many points from a defensive position due to his quickness around the court and it's something that's only going to get better. Arias certainly noticed:

"His game's pretty good, he's an incredible athlete. He does things that I haven't seen players do. He can hit a 100-mile-an-hour forehand from 3 feet behind the baseline, and then on the next shot, he's at the net or pretty close to the net. You don't see anybody do that, it's a new thing. It's impressive to watch."

He added:

"Obviously, he [Carlos Alcaraz] went to the US Open and he's still one of the top favorites at that tournament and it was fine. Now that he's No. 1, he's just going to have to learn to deal with it. It's different, you're not chasing anyone anymore. Everyone's chasing you, everyone's gunning for you."
