Kyrgios and Kokkinakis to compete at the ATP Cup

Following their surprise win in the men's doubles event at the Australian Open, Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have announced they will be representing Australia in the doubles event at the next ATP Cup event.

The duo, who were granted a wildcard entry to Melbourne Park, shocked the world by slaying the top seeds before eventually prevailing against compatriots Matthew Ebden and Mx Purcell in a thrilling final.

With their newfound popularity and undeniable chemistry on the doubles court, both men have announced they will be competing at the next edition of the ATP Cup.

Kyrgios last competed at the 2020 edition of the ATP Cup, where he helped Team Australia reach the semifinals before losing to Team Spain. The ATP Cup is a multi-nation event, and is hosted in Australia a few weeks before the Australian Open.
