A scary situation unfolded at the Kyrgios family home in Canberra when a man stole Nick Kyrgios' car at gunpoint with the tennis player helping police catch him.
It was supposed to be a normal Monday for the Kyrgios family in Canberra but it was anything but. A man with a gun confronted his mother asking for the keys of the parked Tesla car.
Kyrgios was nearby and was called by his mother as soon as the man drove away with the tennis star swiftly reacting.
He used the phone app to track and the car and slow it down as police were in pursuit. They eventually caught and arrested him with the 32-year-old set to appear in front of a court on 5 charges. Kyrgios has yet to offer any comment on the situation but a good conclusion to events will make everybody happy.
