Nick Kyrgios is 1.93m tall and so it is no surprise, that one of his most powerful weapons is the serve. Aussie defeats another strong player on serve Sonego and will face Khachanov
In the
1st round match of Western & Southern Open between Kyrgios and Sonego, both players managed to serve very well. But Nick got a little better when he managed to win 94% of points after his first serve.
After the match, Kyrgios talked about his and Lorenzo's service. "He was serving 130-plus the entire match on his first serve. He can definitely serve at a high level,"
Kyrgios said on ATPtour.com.
"I just stayed tough. I kept holding my serve and just waiting till he kind of dropped his level a little bit. That's all it was. That's all that was in it."
Kyrgios will face young Khachanov in the second round at the Cincinnati tournament. The two players did not meet on the tour yet and Nick talked about his opponent.
"He's an amazing player, so young. We played juniors together. He's had an amazing career so far, and he's going to be one of the best players in the world for a long time," he said.
"He plays super-aggressive. Unbelievable first serve. Great forehand. He's a big guy, as well. Moves well."
It is no doubt matchup featuring these 2 players will be a great match to watch and nobody can predict who will advance between the Last 16.
