The second day in Cincinnati at the Western & Southern Open showed some really interesting matches. Especially when Djokovic, Federer and runner-up from the Montreal tournament Medvedev got on the courts.

During the second game day, the Western & Southern Open mostly featured matches from the first round. Fortunately, there was also room for 3 matches from the 2nd round. And 2 of those 3 matches featured Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer.
In earlier matches, Wawrinka and Dimitrov met again. Wawrinka has been able to defeat Dimitrov 5th time in a row and becomes a nightmare for the Bulgarian.
Djokovic, Federer and Medvedev managed to win their matches without major problems and so they continue to the next round.
The biggest surprise was probably the last game of the second round played this day. John Isner lost to Carreno-Busta and so the tournament ended for him.
