Nick Kyrgios sent another warning to the rest of the ATP Tour which is his second in recent weeks promising a huge year.
Kyrgios certainly delivered in 2022 although he did not make any promises but rather just took things seriously. He seems to be taking them even more seriously now already preparing for next year hoping to improve on what was the best year of his career.
Despite all of his achievements, he's been largely in the media for the wrong things. Just this week, Kyrgios was in the news again for settling a defamation lawsuit with a Polish woman whom he accused of being drunk at Wimbledon.
He apologised for it and donated money to a charity as reparations. He now posted a video on Instagram with a warning in the caption. He wrote:
"Played 13 events, finished number 1 in Australia for singles and doubles, MEDIA AIN’T GONNA WRITE BOUT THAT. 2023 energy going to be dark."
