After withdrawing from the New York Open, Nick Kyrgios withdrew also from Delray Beach Open due to a left wrist injury.

Kyrgios was the first-seeded player at the 2020 Delray Beach Open. The Aussie was supposed to face his very good friend, Tommy Paul in the first round. However, it was revealed that he will not participate in the tournament as the left wrist injury keeps bothering him.
Kyrgios played his last match at the Australian Open when he lost to Rafael Nadal in the 4th round. Since that moment, the Aussie withdrew from all of the tournaments due to injury. In the draw, he will be replaced by the lucky loser, Daniel Elahi Galan.
