The Rio Open 2020 Day two schedule of play promises an abundance of tennis as Dominic Thiem returns to tennis after a lengthy break.
Dominic Thiem is set to make his return to competitive tennis at the Rio Open today. It will his first match since the Australian Open. He is happy to be back on clay courts as he recently
said in an interview. He won't be the only high profile player on the courts today. SO let's see how the schedule shapes up-
The program will be kicked off by
Borna Coric and
Juan Ignacio Londero. Both players enjoy playing on clay courts but neither of them is in particular form. At the same time as them, the court will feature 2nd seed Dusan Lajovic who will play against Marco Cecchinato.
The Rio crowd will also see
freshly crowned Buenos Aires champion Casper Ruud who is having an extraordinary start to the clay season. Thiago Monteiro will defend the colors of his native country when he plays against Guido Pella. That match will be played later in the evening and it will most likely close out the program.
