Team Europe has a firm lead in the
Laver Cup over Team World 11-1 and heading into the final day they will look to close it out by sending out their best players in Medvedev, Zverev and Tsitsipas.
The final day of the Laver Cup will determine who will win the 2021 edition with Team Europe firmly leading as of now. We will see four matches today with all four being worth 3 points. Europe needs to win only one match to win the Laver Cup while Team world needs to win all four. Play will start at 18:00 CET with a doubles match between Rublev and Zverev and Opelka and Shapovalov.
That match might well determine who will win it so don't miss it. After that match, we will see three wonderful singles matches to close out the event which was a huge success drawing huge crowds filling up the TD Garden in Boston. The first match will be between
Alexander Zverev and
Felix Auger-Aliassime. After that, we will see
Daniil Medvedev take on Diego Schwartzman.
It will be an interesting clash of styles between those two players and surely a very interesting match. The final match of the day will be between Tsitsipas and
John Isner with the big-serving American almost beating Zverev in a nail-biter of a match. Don't miss it and we will have coverage of all events.
