Taylor Fritz will face
Carlos Alcaraz for the first time in his career later today and he's excited about the prospect of facing the current number one in the world.
Fritz has faced many great players in his career but he's never faced Alcaraz and you could argue it's quite a unique experience. The Spaniard plays very aggressively and quite precisely which makes him a very tricky player to face. Fritz is aware of it but he's also excited about the chance of facing him:
"I'm aware it's going to be a very physical game, he's going to push me to the limit and I'm going to have to raise my level. It makes me excited to face him, we've never played each other. It'll be fun. Lots of people look forward to this match, me too."
He's right, lots of people will indeed be looking forward to this match and it should be a good one.
