Matteo Berrettini and girlfriend, Melissa Satta subjected to online abuse, mostly directed at Satta with blame for poor tennis form

Matteo Berrettini is very much enjoying life right now but his private life has been the target of social media abuse, especially as his play remains lacklustre.

The Italian hasn't been playing that well recently with injuries playing a part in that as well. He is enjoying life off the court as he was spotted numerous times in Miami with his girlfriend Melissa Satta. The pairing doesn't enjoy the same popularity in the tennis circles as his previous relationship with Ajla Tomljanovic did with many blaming this new romance for his poor play.

Even in Italy, reports suggest that many think the 11-year older Satta is distracting Berrettini from tennis which the Italian publicly denied. He is still focused on tennis but is also mindful to enjoy life at the same time.

She posted an update on Instagram that featured a photo with Berrettini and fans were quick to comment. One fan particularly said:
