Nick Kyrgios continues to add to his digs of World No.1 Jannik Sinner reposting a mocked up Christmas image of the pair and adding his own comment.
Kyrgios has long been at the throat of Sinner over his positive test for substance Clostebol in which he escaped suspension twice. They found 'no fault or negligence' but he will soon undergo a hearing with CAS after the ruling was appealed.
But the Aussie has been a vocal critic of both Sinner and also Iga Swiatek who also tested positive as of late and served a one month ban. Responding to a Christmas post, he put simply: "Me and the grinch".
Those reposting it including Jose Morgado, a prominent journalist wrote: "Out of control" in relation to the statement while some commented that Sinner should get a restraining order against Kyrgios for his constant comments and digs.
He also described his want to play him at the Australian Open and get the crowd on his back to make him feel uncomfortable. Kyrgios makes his full return to the sport next week when he plays at the Brisbane International.
Not only in singles but also in doubles. He will play with Novak Djokovic in Brisbane before reuniting with his close friend and Australian Open grand slam doubles winning partner, Thanasi Kokkinakis for their team dubbed 'Special K's'.
“Let’s be honest, I just want to go out there and I really want to play Sinner,” Kyrgios said on the Nothing Major podcast earlier in December.
“I thought about this (the game plan). If I played him in the Australian Open, I would just get every single person in the crowd to get on him. I would just turn it into an absolute riot.
“All respect would go out the window and I would just do anything to win.”
