Three-time Grand Slam winner Andy Murray has been awarded a wild card entry to the upcoming Western & Southern Open, joining a list of Grand Slam champions who have committed to playing at the event.

The Brit will be looking to claim his third title at the event, having triumphed in 2008 and 2011. He will be joining previous champions Daniil Medvedev (2019), Novak Djokovic (2018), Grigor Dimitrov (2017), Marin Cilic (2016) and Rafael Nadal (2013) in the ATP Masters 1000 tournament.
Hosted annually in Cincinnati, this year the tournament will be held from 20-28 August at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Americans Frances Tiafoe, Tennys Sandgren and Tommy Paul have also been awarded wild card entries to this year's event. Sixteen Top 20 players are on the entry list for this month's event, which will be the first ATP tournament to be played since the season was suspended in March.
