Spain did not lose a single set against Croatia, securing spot number 1 in Group B with 2 victories where Rafael Nadal was present.
Roberto Bautista kicked-off the last tie in group B with the first match at the Centre Court. It was not a long presence of Bautista on the court as he won the match in less than an hour 6-1 and 6-3.
Needing another point for advancing into the quarterfinals, Spain played world number 1, Rafael Nadal, in the second match. Nadal faced Borna Gojo and experienced no major difficulties during the match. He won the match 6-4 and 6-3 as he did not face any break point during the match.
Having already 2 needed points, Marcel Granollers and Rafael Nadal fought also for the third. Their opponents were experienced players in doubles, Ivan Dodig and Mate Pavic. But Nadal with the help of Granollers recorded 3rd win in 2 days for Spain to earn another point for his country.
