Nadal, Serena Williams lead outpouring of support for Tiger Woods

There has been a lot of support for golf legend Tiger Woods following his car accident on Tuesday, and two of tennis biggest stars in Rafael Nadal and Serena have also sent their well-wishes to the sports icon.

Woods was in a single-car accident in California on Tuesday morning, after which he was transported to a hospital. According to his official twitter account, the 45-year old golfer underwent a long surgical procedure on his lower right leg and ankle.

Nadal was quick to offer his sympathy, tweeting "When I heard the news I was really concerned. Good to know you are doing OK. Get well soon my friend!!!!!"

Serena Williams also offered her support, sending her well-wishes on Twitter.
