Nick Kyrgios smashed Filip Krajinovic 6-2 6-3 6-1 to move on at
Wimbledon in a tennis masterclass on grass.
Nick Kyrgios had a very tricky first-round encounter but today proved much better for him as he cruised past Krajinovic like he wasn't even there. It was the type of match Kyrgios loved as his opponent was not interesting in playing long rallies either. He served really well, he returned really well and he nad an opponent that could not really hit the court consistently.
Krajinovic had 16 winners and only 15 unforced errors but was completely smashed on his 2nd serve. It's the weaker serve and Kyrgios had a field day on it the entire time. He blasted 50 winners to only 10 unforced errors in a masterclass of tennis on grass.
He also added 24 aces dropping only 3 points behind his first serve and there is not much more to add. Only the 2nd set lasted over 30 minutes as the other two were quick and with the draw wide open, Kyrgios will have a decent shot at reaching the semifinals.
