BBC and Amazon Prime tennis commentator Mark Petchey made his feelings known about the Novak Djokovic BBC interview.
The Serbian did an interview with BBC that was aired recently and included several topics with the majority of time spent on the Australian Open fiasco because Djokovic never publicly addressed it.
The Serbian explained his side of the story and the reactions have been mixed at best. Mark Petchey made his feelings known on Twitter writing:
"Novak Djokovic has made his views very clear. The rules of each country are now very clear on what you need to be to compete. Nothing else to say."
Djokovic insisted in the interview that he is not against vaccination but simply against mandates imposing anything on any person. He is a firm believer in freedom of choice however Petchey was not impressed with that stance. The British former player did add in his tweet:
"So let’s now perhaps focus on WW3 not happening because none of us need worry about Covid anymore if that starts."
