It's a winless round-robin stage for Medvedev who tried everything to win this match but Djokovic remained strong 6-3 6-7(5) 7-6(2).
Djokovic did not need to win this match but both of these players are competitors and both wanted to win the match and it had nothing to do with the prize money or 200 points. It's all about prestige and they fought hard to win that match, especially Djokovic who looked odd at times during the match.
He was pretty good at the start of the match breaking Medvedev midway through the opening set and finishing it off 6-3. Medvedev was just not precise enough in the opening set and Djokovic used that to his advantage.
The second set was a great one as Medvedev played far better and actually better than Djokovic overall. The Serbian looked tired and exhausted towards the end of the second set and it was quite evident in the tiebreak which Medvedev won 7-5. The final set saw Djokovic struggle physically once more but relied on his serve to push through.
A lengthy game that lasted well over 10 minutes was won by Medvedev to make it 5-4 as he prepared to serve for the match. He got broke once more, and that's the second time this week that he was broken when serving for the match. Another tiebreak was played and this time around Djokovic won it 7-2.

Novak Djokovic comes back from 4-5* down in the 3rd set to beat Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-6(2) and stay undefeated (the only player) in Turin. The longest match of the week... is a dead rubber: 3h11. But they were playing for 200 points and almost 400k dollars.
