Novak Djokovic continued winning indoors with the Serbian smashing Cristian Garin 6-1 6-1 to kick off hsi Astana campaign.
Garin usually does well in slower courts but that is a huge problem if you're playing someone as good as Djokovic. The Serbian had no issues in tearing apart the game of Garin who could not do anything to harm the Serbian.
Farily early Djokovic established control of the match steering it in the direction that suits him. He returned well, he didn't make too many mistakes and he slowly build up points until he could pounce. It was just a majestic display by a player who doesn't seem to slow down.
6-1 was the score in the opening set and the second set went the same way. All in all a good practice session for Djokovic who needed only 62 minutes to win the match and advance. He's now looked very strong indoors when you add this performance to his Tel Aviv week and the wrist issues are behind him as well.
