The ATP will make a stop in the city of Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan for the Astana Open, which will run from October 3-9, 2022.
An ATP500 event, the Astana Open became a permanent member of the ATP season this year following two successful editions in 2020 and 2021. Initially branded an ATP250 event, the tournament has been promoted to a higher tier, which will draw several talented and high-ranked superstars to the city of Nur-Sultan.

Daniil Medvedev and
Novak Djokovic. Greek star
Stefanos Tsitsipas is also confirmed for the tournament, and he will be joined by in-form Canadian
Felix Auger-Aliassime and hometown favorite
Alexander Bublik.
