Holger Rune parts ways with
Patrick Mouratoglou after six months as the French coach might return to Simona Halep if her ban gets reversed in the coming time.
Rune started working with Mouratoglou six months ago after Simona Halep got provisionally banned from the sport. There seems to be a resolution coming in her case and a return to tennis courts seems likely. If so, there is a solid chance Mouratoglou returns to Halep which Rune kind of hinted at by using the term 'borrow' when announcing the news of them parting ways.
He annoucned it on social media writing:
"I had the opportunity to borrow Patrick for a limited period and we have had 6 educational and fun months together. Now it’s time to move on and use the learning on my own. Thank you Patrick for some great months together."
Rune will likely continue with his usual coach unless he opts to hire another coach.
