American tennis player Reilly Opelka is one of the thousands who does not approve of pickleball, as he took a shot at pickleball team owners who are investing in the sport.

Opelka shared a clip of an incident during a professional pickleball tournament, where a player appeared frustrated due to the strategy used by her opponent.

Tennis stars Naomi Osaka and Nick Kyrgios collaborated with NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes in purchasing a Miami-based team in the Major League Pickleball (MLP). Regardless, Opelka took a shot at team owners, indicating his disdain for the sport.

"Imagine thinking owning one of these teams is a good investment," he wrote on his Instagram story.

Former World No.1 Kim Clijsters has also shown interest in professional pickleball, partnering with NFL great Tom Brady in the ownership group of an expansion team.
