Benoit Paire will be part of France's ATP Cup efforts early next year alongside Gael Monfils, Lucas Pouille, Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
Paire spoke ahead of the tournament and said that he loves playing on a team and that you can feel the pressure when you are playing for your country.
He also gave his memories growing up and said that he remembers in particular going to Roland Garros with his parents.
"I like being on a team a lot. You can feel the pressure when you’re playing for your country, so I'm very happy to play in the ATP Cup," said Paire.
"I would say Sebastien Grosjean and Arnaud Clement. I was always following their matches and supporting them. I grew up close to Marseille, so I was able to see them live at the Open 13 in Marseille and it was important for me to watch them."
"I remember going with my parents to Roland Garros. It was a big experience to be able to watch the players practise and get some autographs from them."
