Benoit Paire won't be playing at the 2020 US Open after he was tested positive for COVID-19 and removed from the players' field.

The 31-years-old Frenchman was supposed to be the seventeenth-seeded at the 2020 US Open. Paire should have faced Kamil Majchrzak in the first round of the second Grand Slam of the 2020 season, but his plans changed after testing positive for the COVID-19.
Paire was replaced by Marcel Granollers in the draw and all of the safety protocols have been applied in order to ensure the safety of all of the players and staff in Flushing Meadows.
