Paris Masters 2020 Friday Schedule of Play with Nadal versus Carreno-Busta

The Paris Masters continues on Friday with the quarterfinals that will have 4 very interesting matches featuring the best 8 players this week in Paris.

The next quarterfinal will take place when this one ends and it will be Milos Raonic vs Ugo Humbert. Both players have served sensationally in Paris and we might expect more of that tomorrow. The odds favour Raonic naturally but Humbert has put forward stellar performances here so he will have a decent shot if he plays the way he can. It will be their first match against each other.

The 3rd quarterfinal will be an all-Spanish affair between Nadal and Carreno-Busta. It will their 7th match and Nadal leads 6-0 with the last match coming in Rome this year which Nadal won 6-1 6-1. Pablo has been having a really good restart especially on hard courts but Nadal is slowly coming into his own in Paris as well despite some early struggles. His record against Pablo has been impressive with very convincing victories so anything but a Nadal victory will be a huge surprise.

The final match of the day will be between Alexander Zverev and Stan Wawrinka. Both players had tough matches yesterday but they are deservedly won. It will a very good matchup as Stan has looked impressively good while Zverev entered the event in good form as well. The odds favour Zverev who won all three of their previous matches but he never won in straight sets. Considering that and the level Stan is displaying in Paris we could be in for a tight and close match.
